Ky-Mani

Ky-ManiKy-mani is on the rise through his untitled 3rd album. The 26th of February, 1976 Ky-mani Marley was born to famous Robert Nesta Marley and Jamaican table tennis champion, Anita Belnavis, in Falmouth, Jamaica. East African words for Ky-mani are a reference to an adventurous traveler. Being an East African man, his album and his travels represent an adventure. The Journey, his musical journey, began in the year 1999. Through an eclectic approach, he found his voice and travelled the spectrum of music, exploring his many skills. The year 2001 saw the release of Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated) was a "traditional" reggae record was released exposing a more mature Ky-mani. Many More Roads, as and The Journey are well-received across the globe and established Kymani's character as an the independent "artist". Ky-Mani's music is a blend of roots reggae , interspersed and hip-hop R&B in addition to contemporary jazz.
