Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin, a Canadian-New Zealander actor. Born in Winnipeg and brought up in Wellington Paquin began her acting debut as Flora McGrath in the romantic drama film The Piano for which she was awarded the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress at the age of 11, making her the second-youngest winner to win an award within Oscar history. Anna Paquin is full Anna Helene Paquin born on the 24th of July in 1982 Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Canadian actor and New Zealander who, when she was a young girl was awarded the Academy Award in 1993 for the most outstanding supporting actress. They moved with their family from Canada to New Zealand when she was just a baby and was raised in New Zealand. If she answered a call for auditions to play the character, she was chosen as Flora McGrath, the daughter of a deaf Scottish piano player who relocates to New Zealand in mid-19th-century to get married. It was her first role at the age of nine, and she had no previous experience as an actor. In her teens, Paquin moved to America. Paquin was in a brief role in the movie's title character, when she was in the midst of her childhood as part of Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre (1996) as well as an important role in the movie Fly Away Home (1996). Paquin was Frankie Addams in a 1997 film adaptation for television of Carson McCullers's novel The Member of the Wedding and played the role in the title role as Queen Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (1997). The actress played teens in the films of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) and played her polexia Aphrodisa the groupie of Almost Famous (2000).
