April Ross

April Ross was one of the few female beach volleyball stars who won medals at more than one Olympics. Alix klineman, who is playing for the first time at Tokyo's Olympic Games and will attempt to win her third medal. Ross's dream is to earn her first Olympic Gold. As she is 39 she could have her final chance. Her optimism is that she'll be successful in achieving top honours. Ross declared on NBC Boston: "If we do our best and even playing well I'm sure we'll get the gold medal." In addition, I'll try some luck. Ross was born in the city of Costa Mesa, California in the year 1982. Her parents as well as her sister resided in the area. Ross played in numerous sports while attending Newport Harbor High School. In her time as a college athlete she was also a participant in indoor volleyball and track. She was definitely an edge over the other players in the latter sport. In her time at high school, she was a middle blocker outside setter and hitter in the court for volleyball, according to her college bio. Gatorade Circle Of Champions named her the national Player 1999. Also, she won the 2000 Orange County Athlete of the Award for volleyball. Ross and Klineman formed their relationship in 2017 but Ross has been a beach player for years prior to. She has won numerous events, one of which was with a legendary volleyball player. Jennifer Kessy was her partner for six years, from 2007 until 2013. Also, she coached Klineman as well as herself. Kessy was Ross's partner on the World Championships of 2009. The 2012 Olympic Games, they received the gold medal. Misty Maytreanor (Jennings) as well as Misty Maytreanor clinched gold overtaking them. Ross Jennings took over for May-Treanor after she retired. The pair were able to win bronze in beach volleyball in the Rio Olympics in 2016. Ross was a college athlete at USC Trojans prior to beginning her pro career. She was a player in high school and in before hitting the beaches as a professional. Ross's time in the Trojans was remarkable. The year 2000 was her freshman year. earned her the Pac-10 and NCAA Freshman's of Award and also be named an All-American. As an individual Ross established her status in the history books by winning the Honda Sports Award for 2003-04. The award is given to the top female college volleyball players in the United States. Ross was a major in international relations at USC. Margie Ross was never able to see her daughter achieve the heights of beach volleyball. Ross's mother Margie died in 2001 when Ross was a USC sophomore. She had breast cancer. In the aftermath, Ross continues to be near to her mother who passed away. Margie has always been a source of inspiration to her both in and out of the water.
